Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men

by Molly Harper

Pocket Star | August 25, 2009 | Mass Market Paperbound

Following Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs, the second in a hilarious, smart, sexy romantic series about an out-of-work librarian who is turned into a vampire.

With her best friend Zeb's Titanic-themed wedding looming ahead, new vampire Jane Jameson struggles to develop her budding relationship with her enigmatic sire, Gabriel. It seems unfair that she's expected to master undead dating while dealing with a groom heading for a nuptial nervous breakdown, his hostile werewolf in-laws, and the ugliest bridesmaid dress in the history of marriage.

Meanwhile, the passing of Jane's future step-grandpa puts Grandma Ruthie back on the market. Her new fiancÉ, Wilbur, has his own history of suspiciously dead spouses, and he may or may not have died ten years ago. Half-Moon Hollow's own Black Widow has finally met her match.

Should Jane warn her grandmother of Wilbur's marital habits or let things run their course? Will Jane always be an undead bridesmaid, never the undead bride?

Combining Mary Janice Davidson's sass and the charm of Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse novels, this is an incredibly satisfying read for fans of paranormal romantic comedy.

Nice girls don't date dead men is the second book in molly harpers hilarious series.

Ex libarian jane jameson is back and this time she is in wedding hell. Her best friend zeb is getting married to jolene the werewolf and let's just say both families arn't to happy about it.
Jolene's family is mad that she is marring a human instead of her cousin and that she wants to move out of the compound where her WHOLE FAMILY lives(do you blame her?), so they are making life pretty hard for zeb and a few"accidents" have even occured.

Zeb's family doesn't want him to marry jolene because in his mamma gingers eyes zeb is supose to be with jane and no one else will do. Mamma ginger will do everything and anything to get zeb the jane together, even though they are just friends and becides, jane is with gabriel.

Gabriel is starting to worry about janes feelings towards him because zeb is starting to act weird around her and her first boy crush adam is starting to woo her and to top it off gabriel keeps getting these threatning letters saying to stay away from jane OR ELSE.

While jane has told gabriel she only wants to be with him, she is having major trust issues because he keeps going out of town on business trips and he doesn't answer his phone and sometimes he's not even where he says he's staying, but she doesn't want to be "that" girlfriend so she stay's quiet......for now.

Becides the wedding plans and the constant phone calls about the families fighting jane has to worry about her own family drama. Grandpa #4 has just died and gramma ruthie has a date to the funeral!
Wilber is her next victium, but let's just say he isn't going to die anytime soon. Then theres her sister jenny who has her laywers breathing down her neck to make sure she gets what's rightfully hers. With all this drama at least she doesn't have to worry about dick.

Dick is very interested in andrea, the "blood for sale" chick and janes best female friend but she isn't interested in him, but that won't stop dick, he does love a good chase.

I really love molly harpers writting style and hummor and jane is very easy to relate to. This was such a great book that I actually finished it in one day and at the end I had a big silly smile on my face.
