I really liked this book! I thought it was just a wonderful example
of not just teen love, but those awkward transitional moments
between relationships, between what was and realizing that you're
worth much more than that.
A lot of cute musical references and modern teen verbiage, but it
really doesn't dissuade the reader from the intensity of the two
characters. It's fantastic to read it from both their view
points... giving you the urge to smack them both and just say "Talk
to each other!!"
When the authors get to the point where Nick and Norah try to take
that relationship to the next level, I was almost disappointed. I
didn't want the story (the relationship?) to end on that note, thus
sort of invalidating everything that had happened up to that point.
It was handled so well, so comically, and in exactly the right
direction, though, that I, as the reader, felt entirely vindicated.
