From the Publisher

It all starts when Nick asks Norah to be his girlfriend for five minutes. He only needs five minutes to avoid his ex-girlfriend, who's just walked in to his band's show. With a new guy. And then, with one kiss, Nick and Norah are off on an adventure set against the backdrop of New York City-and smack in the middle of all the joy, anxiety, confusion, and excitement of a first date.

This he said/she said romance told by YA stars Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is a sexy, funny roller coaster of a story about one date over one very long night, with two teenagers, both recovering from broken hearts, who are just trying to figure out who they want to be-and where the next great band is playing.

Told in alternating chapters, teeming with music references, humor, angst, and endearing side characters, this is a love story you'll wish were your very own. Working together for the first time, Rachel Cohn and David Levithan have combined forces to create a book that is sure to grab readers of all ages and never let them go.

A Perfect Teenage Night Out 5

This review is from: Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist (Hardcover)

Written by two exceptional teen fic authors, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is the type of night I wish I had have experienced in high school. From their first meeting and subsequently, first kiss, to sunrise where they're dancing in the rain utterly exhausted but reluctant to end the night, it feels like you are right there with them throughout their Saturday night adventures. Each new wrench in the night's plans is viewed through both teens' eyes thus giving the reader both sides of the… read more

    Fantastic Book! 5

Fantastical rendition of two teens beginning something new in a chaotic world. The characters are completely believable and intelligent. This adventure of two people, one night, and a drunken best friend opens the world of teenage angst in a complete realistic fashion. It was like reliving everything I've felt from age ten to age twenty in 183 pages.

    Great read 4

This book was recommended by a number of customers and friends and it was just delightful. The swearing was a bit gratuitous in my opinion, but understandable. A great he said she said story, about a night that I think everyone wishes they could experience.

    Well done! 5

I really liked this book! I thought it was just a wonderful example of not just teen love, but those awkward transitional moments between relationships, between what was and realizing that you're worth much more than that. A lot of cute musical references and modern teen verbiage, but it really doesn't dissuade the reader from the intensity of the two characters. It's fantastic to read it from both their view points... giving you the urge to smack them both and just say "Talk to each other… read more

Definitely for an Older teen 3

I liked this book - a story of the one crazy night Nick and Norah meet in a club in New York City. A story of music and exes and screwed up relationships and attraction. It was a quick read and I want to read the author's next collaboration. I didn't like it as much as the Gingerbread series though. And it is definitely high school teenagers.
