Review: This is one of my favourite Jodi Picoult books to date, all
though that list pretty much contains all her books, There hasn't
been a Jodi Picoult book that I've disliked yet. Nineteen Minutes
is a very emotionally charged book. Almost all emotions rise to the
surface with this book, Sadness, Anger, Sympathy, Hate...Jodi
Picoult is known for her twists and surprises and this book didn't
fall short. Just when I thought I had it figured out, something
would spin the story into another direction that I wasn't
expecting. In the Acknowledgements Jodi Picoult writes " To The
Thousands of Kids out there who are a little bit different, a
little bit scared, a little bit unpopular: this one's for you."
That's exactly what this book is about, People who struggle to fit
in, which is everyone at some point or another. In this book Jodi
Picoult gives a voice to those people. This book is a definite must
read. Make sure you keep the Kleenex close by for this one..
