None Is Too Many

The condemned Jews of Auschwitz knew of two Canada's. The first was the area in the concentration camp where all their possessions were taken, a place they were forbidden from. The second was a country an ocean away that refused them entry and refuge throughout the 1930s and 1940s, when they most needed to escape. None Is Too Many explores the reasons, if any, for this shameful immigration policy. Irving Abella and Harold Troper go to great lengths to show the political and administrative ignorance that kept Jews from the salvation they sought.
