It's been a number of years since I've read this book but I do remember going on about it and making recommendations to friends and relatives. I thought my mother in law in particular, would definitely enjoy this novel. Unfortunately, her eyesight is failing her and she can no longer read a conventional style book. I keep checking back in hopes that “Our Lady of the Lost and Found” will be released to CD, no luck so far but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Being a good catholic lad, I found Our Lady of The Lost and Found funny-sad-educational and very well investigated by Ms.Schoemperlen. knowing her and the penchance she has for opening her door for the beleagured and downcast-what a great treat this would have been for this lady, if the story was true and not fiction. For the love shown for our Blessed Virgin, Diane opened my heart and eyes to my preferred religion and church,once more. Thank you

I read this book and, from the beginning, loved the words, the images. It was wonderful to "meet" the Virgin Mary, the woman. At times, you can't help wondering if the story was true or fiction. Beautifully written. I've lent it to many people since.
I would love to read more books by this author.

When I first read the inside flap of this book, I knew I was in for an original, insightful and hopefully spiritual read. 'Our Lady' did not disappoint on any level. The personification of Mary in modern times was both brilliant and inspirational. The knowledge that we all strive for those peaceful corners in the universe where we can relax, reflect, regenerate, and finally proceed with our daily lives. For some of us it means balancing work, family and friends. For others it means performing miracles, appearing as apparitions and listening to prayers the world over. Despite the sophisticated and ingenious parallels to theories in physics, philosophy and history with a small h, in the end, we only know this: that there is no greater knowledge than self knowledge and the most difficult history we must come to terms with, and ultimately accept, is our own.
