    Good Read but only once.
    Big fan of Austen but I can honestly say I did not relate to this character. She did nothing in the pursuit of her own life and never once stood up for herself, which was one of Austen's main character habits. Although I did not like the character I did still like the book

    Wonderful read.
    The last Jane Austen I had to read was Persuasion. Second last was Northanger Abbey. After the quick story, humor and lightheartedness of Northanger Abbey, I found Persuasion a little slow to start. The beginning of the novel focuses more on family dynamics and family history than centering on the heroine's story. I also found it hard to connect with Anne Elliot in the beginning. Being determined, I stuck with the novel and after a few chapters was rewarded with another wonderful story. More serious than her other novels, but definitely worth reading!
