    This is a really cute story. Lucia, Pink Pearl Mermaid Princess, needs to retrieve her pearl so that she can have a coming-of-age cerimony. Soon, though, she's fallen in love with Kaito. As they become closer, it seems that he has an ability that is... unhuman. Please read this manga, its great! (But if you've watched the anime first, you should know: this one may not be as age-appropriate as the anime. Espesially with the death of some of the villians that takes place in the manga and the relationship between Kaito and Lucia goes MUCH deeper.)

    I've always marvelled at the Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, and it's simply wonderful to finally get to read the manga.

    Hanamori Pinks drawing style blows me away, it's just too cute! And the girls look great as mermaids! And a cute little Hippo!

    Thank you, Del Rey, for finally publishing this wonderful manga.
