I love reading Seth Godin's books, blogs, but this one didn't hit the mark for me. Usually Seth inspires me to think, reflect, and make notes on things I can do with my own business but as I was reading through this little ditty (takes about 2 hours in total), all I kept thinking was this is a rant, a blog-book. Then on page 80 was the line "And that's why I published this rant." The key message of the book (1) "Be a starter, innovator, creator, instigator." The world needs more of these kinds of people. (2) Failure is good, learn from it, many great things have occurred because of failure - it shows the person/company tried! Never try, never fail, the world is safe. I much preferred Tribes and Meatball Sunday.
