Pontypool Changes Everything

by Tony Burgess

ECW Press | March 1, 1998 | Trade Paperback

What if you woke up and began your morning by devoting the rest of your life to a murderous rampage, a never-ending cannibalistic spree? And what if you were only one of thousands who shared the same compulsion? This novel depicts just such an epidemic. It''s the compelling, terrifying story of a devastating virus. You catch it through conversation, and once it has you, it leads you on a strange journey—into another world where the undead chase you down the streets of the smallest towns and largest cities.

Having already finished the 3rd Burgess gift Ceasaria, I can say without a doubt that I would read this man's grocery list. Then frame it and proudly display it beside members of my family, living and dead. Oh yeah, the book's good too.

Creative. Intelligent. Fascinating. Grotesque. Very Tony. Tony, if you read these emails, drop me a line - I'd like to say hello! Maria (a.k.a. RMG Borg)

From Our Editors

A deadly flesh-eating virus has decimated Ontario's population. Guelph and St. Catharines are practically ghost towns. Hamilton and Norwood have been reduced to the last soul. The body count is in the millions. Want to hear the frightening part? This is neither allegory nor surrealism nor even science fiction. Pontypool Changes Everything is autobiography - and it's an astonishing novel from Tony Burgess.
