Now there is a solution: in Potatoes Not Prozac Dr. Kathleen DesMaisons gives you the tools you need to overcome sugar dependency, with self-tests to determine your sugar sensitivity as well as an easy-to-follow, drug-free program with a customized diet high in protein and complex carbohydrates. "POTATOES not PROZAC" was THE answer.
I followed the programm step by step and now I feel so much better. I have more energy than ever before in my life.
I recommend this book to everybody who doesn't feel really healthy or has any weight problems.

    Hypoglycemics UNITE!!

WOW!! What a great book. This is my bible! I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia this past January and was NOT liking my life. This book put it all into perspective for me and gave me a lot of vital information about learning how to eat and rethink my diet constraints. I now know why I have the cravings I do and how to get over them. A great book and I am so thankful that my friend told me about it.

From Our Editors

You've heard from your mom that you are what you eat and Kathleen DesMaisons, PhD, proves that here. She demonstrates how what you eat can dramatically affect the way you feel because of the reaction that happens in your body. Many people have an almost allergic reaction to sugars and carbohydrates, which makes them feel drowsy and depressed. By using charts and questionnaires Potatoes Not Prozac helps you determine whether you have a sensitivity to certain foods. Once you've determined your level of allergy, the book helps you treat it with a diet that you tailor to suit your own needs and lifestyle. Get ready to feel much better!
