In her heart of hearts, Mia has but one wish: an evening spent with Michael in a tux and a corsage on her wrist -- in other words, the PROM. Michael, however, does not seem to share the dream that is the prom. Worse still, a service workers strike (with Grandmère and Lilly at the heart of it and on opposite sides) threatens the very existence of this year's prom. Will the strike end in time? Can Mia talk Michael out of his anti-prom views? Most importantly, will Mia get to wear her pink prom dress?

I really thought that Princess In Pink isn't what I expected... Mia kept on droning about prom. I don't recommend it...

This book, I don't mean to be a downer... but in my opinion it was really horrible. i think it was because i never read the books that came before this one but i really didn't like it. i just didn't see the point in any of it and it just never kept my attention. I don't plan on reading this book a second time and i wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

    Too Perfect For Words

I love this series!!!...I have all the books so far and I hope she writes more.Sometimes I think the word self actualization is used a bit excessiveley but meg cabot express exactly how the average teen girl feels and her problems and doubts(Although Mia is a bit above average because she is obviously very intelligent)Micheal is too perfect of a boyfriend to be real.He is what every girl dreams of.Lilly is the friend you love and hate because she tells the real truth, Tina is the friend who's shoulder can cry on and Grandmere well she is one of a kind and I simply cannot stand her.All in all these books are perfect. They're funny, smart and you cant put them down.My favourite is this volume-Princess In Pink because Im glad to see Lilly finally being able to see how her friends feel about her and that she should tone down her rough bluntness.

Awesome book!!!Though people might think its more of a girl book because of the princess involved it really is a good book because it touched my heart.Meg Cabot has a really good sense of stuff and i have to say a good writer. People out there should really read this book and spend less time on computer, phone etc...

this is a really good book. I know most people think that the princess diaries are stupid books, but they're wrong. Meg Cabot captures what every teen is thinking. It is a great book with a humorous twist. So I advise you all to read it.
