This book as a good number of funny parts. It gives you a peek in the wizarding game of Quidditch. It looks like a real wizard book. From the PRAISE by Bathilda Bagshot, Brutus Scrimgeour, Gideroy Lockheart and Rita Skeeter to the price tag on the bag (14 Sickles, 3 Knuts).

    Intriguing Extra Information

Being a huge Harry Potter fan, I wanted to learn even more after the main series ended. Quidditch Through the Ages gives readers a bunch of tidbits that are very interesting. If you're a Quidditch fan, this is a great book because you learn about things such as the different broom models, how Quidditch started, all the different Quidditch teams.
It's nice to learn about the history of Quidditch starting way back with the first broom. Throughout the book you'll find little helpful diagrams that explain a lot of the subject like a Quidditch pitch.
The only thing I find disappointing is that it doesn't go into detail about most of the teams which would be nice to read about. Overall however, it's a quick little read that's fun to indulge in when those huge, long, thick books become a bit of a bore.

    The Evolution of Quidditch

This book is also written by J.K. Rowling disguised as a different fictional character in the Harry Potter series. This isn't Harry's personal textbook, but rather a library book that he (along with many other Hogwarts students) had borrowed at some point.

Albus Dumbledore again writes the forward, explaining how he convinced the librarian to let him release the book to the muggle population.

The story starts with basic flying broom games and leads to the evolution of Quidditch and how the sport came to be. It talks about the rules, the different balls, the players, and by the end of the novel we all have a basic understanding of all of the components that make up Quidditch.

If you want to get the inside scoop on the game Harry Potter plays, check out this book.

I bought it in a box set with Fantastic Beasts, and I love this edition to my Harry Potter collection.

While the book is absolutely tiny, and quick to read, it is a great addition to my collection. It is fun to learn all the rules and regulations of Quidditch, and especially the history, while also reading the notes of your favourite characters.
What more can you ask for? Here is a book, right OUT OF the ACTUAL books! Plus, the proceeds all go to charity, which makes this a must for any Harry Potter fan.
