I really enjoyed the book Red is Best. Re-reading it after many
years (for a project) I've come to realise that it speaks a
universal truth. That everyone has that one thing they hold on to
and it doesn't matter if nobody understands it's special to them
and that's all that counts (My red barrettes make my hair laugh -
Kathy Stinson). I highly recommend picking this book up, it will be
as much fun for you as for the child/children you are reading it
too.
- I also still have that cereal bowl, that my cereal doesn't get
soggy in and that blanket that keeps me warmer than any other.
