I wasn't at the edge of my seat until the last couple chapters.
Then after closing the book, I hunger for more. But I didn't feel
that way initially as I was reading the book.
Throughout the beginning, it dealt with forbidden love and deceit
and secrets which were okay. A few chapters had great twists the
way it was written, other chapters I found a bit predictable.
Still, it's a wonderful series, and despite my slight
disappointment, I'm looking forward to the next mainly because of
those last few chapters. The author catches you that way. Very
clever of her.
