From the Publisher

When medieval Schotland has been reduced to an English vassal state by Edward I, it was Robert the Bruce who united the Scots in rebellion and won Schotland’s independence. Using comtemporary account for flaovor and authenticity, Scott vividly reconstructs the heroic chronicle of the greatest Scottish leader.

Robert the Bruce: King of Scots 5

This is an excellent read for anyone who wishes to know who was the REAL hero of Scotland. Enjoyable for its historical information, one feels taken back 700 years and lives those terrible days of persecution and humiliation at the hands of an English King who knew no honour. Well worth the price.
