This was the 2nd book in the Children of The Sea series and it was just as good if not better than the first (Sea Witch).

After watching the last available man on the island get married, Regina Bartone decides to get good and drunk on the beach. She gets interupted by Dylan, the grooms brother and also a selkie. Regina has what she thinks is a one night stand only to become pregnant. She soon gets drawn into Dylan's world when they find out that their baby could be the answer to defeating the children of fire.

This was a terrific read and am almost done reading Sea Lord as I am writing this review.
