Sea Lord

So this was the final (or so I thought) book in the Children of The Sea series. There's a 4th books in the works. Anyway, this was Lucy's story. She's the sister of Caleb and Dylan and despite their exciting lives, Lucy's is the exact oppisite. She's a plain wallflower who no really notices or includes in anything. That is until the day Conn (the sea lord) has a vision of Lucy and decides to kidnap her away to Santuary.

He believes that she is the daughter that will help defeat the children of fire.

I did enjoy watching the realationship develope between Lucy and the unfeeling sea king. However I was not happy with the sudden ending. We aren't told what happens to Caleb & Maggie and Dylan & Regina.

And I felt really bad that a corn husk doll was left in place of Lucy so that no one would notice her missing. It just showed how little even her own family paid attention to her.

I'm really glad that there's going to be a 4th book (Morgan's story) cause maybe we'll get to see how the other characters faired out after this book.
