I have spent quite some time in Thailand over the years and have read several of the books that have been written about the prison and criminal justice systems there. Most of them reveal the inherent barbarism, injustice and victimisation, but all were very short on real detail and as such not terribly gripping. Send Them To Hell is an exception however. The detail that has been included and the way it is written is brilliant, and gripping and suspenseful indeed it is to the last page. My congratulations go to Sebastian for a terrific job and I am eagerly looking fwd to his next book, Justice Incorporated, which, according to his webpage, will be released in October.
