This book should be on every hand spinners Must Read list. It has excellent concise physical descriptions of the breeds of sheep with the characteristics of the fleece and suggestions for its use or uses. The authors have divided the book into sections, which group the various breeds with similar fleece characteristics. This makes it very easy to make good choices for your project as the properties of the fleece are reflected in the yarn you spin.

The authors have also included excellent spinning tips, guidance on care of fleeces, production of yarn, and product design tips. They finish with a group of exercises for keeping the spinner fit while enjoying using Sheep's Clothing.

This is also a great book to carry along with you for identifying flocks during your travels in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and especially in Britain where you may discover the greatest variety of breeds of sheep.

An excellent book for every handspinner that will serve as a valuable reference.
