    Shopaholic & Baby a Smashing Success! 4

Well, Shopaholic & Baby was as great a read as I expected! I read it in one sitting because I couldn't wait to find out how Becky was going to inadvertently save the day this time. Besides, I love living vicariously through her shopping sprees. It saves me the trouble of taking out my own loads of plastic to charge the day away. Can't wait for the next book and Becky's crazy adventures!

Actually had me laugh out loud 4

There were so many moments in the beginning of this book which actually had me laughing out loud with the wittiness of the characters. And although I love the shopaholic series, this book being the fifth one, I must say it has become very predictable for endings.

By far I found this installment in the Becky Brandon (nee Bloomwood) series to be the most suspenseful yet. I found I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next and find out if the truth would be revealed. If you are a fan of the series you will not be disappointed by this installment in the series.

Becky now has to deal with being pregnant and going shopping..Hmm..how's she gonna pull this one off? Then when she gets the must have Celeb Doctor, life just tumbles down from there. Very heartwarming and funny. I enjoyed it.

shopaholic & baby by sophie kinsella 4

I just finished reading Shopaholic & Baby, the newest installment of the Shopaholic series. I still remember resisting buying the first Shopaholic book, Confessions of a Shopaholic because it had a florescent pink cover and, at that time, I would not be caught dead carrying a book with a florescent pink cover. Nevertheless, I would pick it up each time I went into Chapters and then place it back on the shelf or table. The one day, probably a year or two after it had first come out, ninadiva… read more

this book had me in wayyy too much suspense. i cheated a little and asked my friend who had already read the book if i'd be able to forgive luke @ the end and stil like him. LOL. she gave me an answer but i'm not going to share it. this book is TOTALLY worth the read. i recommend you read the book & find out if luke's really as great a husband as he seems.

to me, it was an experience to read! you feel for bex and sometimes the book would bring me almost to tears because you really truly feel like you're becky brandon! i think we all have a little "becky" in us.....we all secretly want to spend loads of money on designer purses, shoes, clothes...etc, she's a wonderful character that sophie kinsella created. this is why i would recommend this book to every girl out there!

I think "& Baby" would have to be in my top three out of the Shopaholic series (1. Shopaholic, 2. Ties The Knot). I couldn't put it down - especially when the real drama hits! A real page turner! You can't help but laugh.

    Great as always 5

I can barely wait until the next book in Kinsella's wonderful series of Shopaholic novels. I did not expect to be disappointed in this latest book and I wasn't. My only concern is that I often laugh out loud while reading these entertaining books no matter where I am! It can be a bit embarrassing. I can only imagine what motherhood antics will be exposed by the main character, Rebecca. It reminds me of watching the "I Love Lucy" shows from the days of black and white television.
