    An ok companion to Eclipse

I have to say, I wasn't overly excited when I found out about this novella, and adding it to the library wasn't a priority, but I happened across it at a second hand store and since I have the rest in the series, I picked it up. Let me first say that it is not up to standard for me. Meyer for all her flaws, usually paints a vivid picture with her stories, but I felt that in trying to keep it short and sweet, most of these characters come off 2 dimensional, and the storyline felt rushed, I was really intrigued with the vampire Fred, and genuinely would like to know more of his story, but that's pointless, since she has made it perfectly clear, that she is finished with this series. All in all, it was kind of interesting to see what was going down in Seattle with the newborns, but what the fans of Twilight really want is Midnight Sun, not some second rate backstory about a mostly insignificant character.
