This book was great! First off I want to let everyone know how much I adore this series. The whole concept of fallen angels, love and betrayal. It just interests me so much and I really thank Becca Fitzpatrick for introducing me into a whole 'nother world of fantasy. This has got to be my all time favourite book series. The characters, plot, and overall scheme is just addictive, and I can never get enough of it! Now on to the review of the actual book! Well, I'd been waiting for months for our local library to order in 'Silence' so I could be the first to read it. When it finally came after various frustrating mistakes, I was super excited! Like squeal up and down like a little girl excited :D I honestly had no idea what to expect to happen in this third instalment, but I knew right away it would be AMAZING. I don't think 'Silence' was as good as the first or second books, or how I anticipated, but overall it was pretty freakin' amazing. I think the plot was interesting with lots of unexpected turns and it keeps you flipping through the pages like a maniac! There were some bland moments for me but I can easily overlook that, especially since Becca is like my favourite author. Her writing is descriptive and flowing and I couldn't have asked for anything better! I probably would have given this book a 4.3 based on the actual events, but considering everything I'm going to give it a 5. Thank-you so much Becca for writing this spectacular book, and I'm really looking forward to the fourth and final book ;)
