This one is only the 3rd book I have read by R.A. Salvatore and I must admit I am becoming quite the fan. He has had a number off books out for years and for some reason I never seemed to purchase one. That is changing.

The characters he creates are interesting and draw you into the story. You begin to care for the hero's and hate the villians. The setting of the Forgotten realms is excellent as any D&D player will know and those who are unfamiliar with it will grow to love it.

In Sojourn the young drow warrior, Drizzt Do'Urden, leaves the underworld to start a new life on the surface with his faithful companion Guenhwyvar. He and the magical black panther face many trials and end up hunted by the forces of good and evil. All the dark elf really wants is to find a home and acceptance. Will he find it? You have to read to find out.
