In fact, I've read it twice so far, and I imagine I will read it periodically when my spirits need a lift. I discovered this book quite by accident and am so glad that I did. If you love England (particularly London), or have a fascination with royalty, you must read this book. But even if you don't, the author (really, the main character, given this is a memoir -- but it reads like a zany chicklit novel) is very appealing and writes extremely well, which makes for a very winning combination. Really, you can't lose. If you think you'd like a combination of Helen Fielding, Jane Austen and Jilly Cooper (three of my favourite observers of English life), get this. It will be perfect to read over the holidays or while on vacation.
