    Think Sex in the City but with More Soul

    Something Borrowed is the story of a smart young woman in New York who falls in love with her best friend's fiancé. Instead of not liking her, which I might be expected to do, I found myself totally rooting for her. This book will never be confused with a great literary endeavour but you will have a blast reading it. It is a breezy, romantic, happily-ever-after story. Think Sex in the City but with more soul, more intelligence. Go for it!

    Great Light Read

    After seeing and loving the movie, my friend recommended that I read the book. So I happily dove in. The thing I love about this book is that although the rational part of your brain is telling you that taking Rachel's side is morally wrong, I found myself on Rachel's side from the get go. The book was a light and quick read. A perfect beach read or way to spend your sunday curled up on the couch. As far as chick-lit goes I love this.

    A Good, Light Story

    I needed a light, easy read and this book delivered. However it wasn't so light that it was boring, I found it to be quite the page turner at times.
    I liked the characters and related to Rachel (only in the way that we suffer from being goody-two-shoes) and I liked that she progressed, she got some attitude near the end of the book.
    Overall I really liked it and I am considering reading the next book in the series.

    I was really into this book. It is filled with drama, although I am not one for drama. I immediately wanted to read the next book - Something Blue. I am now on her other book, Baby Proof.
