It's nice to have so many designs for the boys in one place, instead of having to flip through books to find them. It did surprise me a litte that the editor of a leading feminist mmagazine would write a knittng book full of designs classed as being "for men". It seems to get away from her original book, which had photos of short-haired women hapiilly flaunting their boxy, "man" ish sweaters. One of the things I enjoyed about her books was that knitting isn't 'for' anyone, she showcases male knitters, and female models wearing "guy" sweaters. So I bought the book, but I don't just knit this stuff for my husband (who couldn't be paid to wear a sweater, haha)

With all of the knitting books available, it is wonderful to read such a delightful author. She makes the technique portions of the book very fun to read. I already have several patterns marked for future knitting.
