    Couldn't Put This Down

Ashes and Lace is an excellent story that I could not put down. It is a must read book for any one who enjoys reading historical fiction novels. Having read Cloth of Heaven I read Ashes and Lace the next day with the one book running into the other as if the first book did not end.
This book had many inspirations and ideas that even today could help others through situations in today's world.
Touching upon issues such as racism, poverty, faith, hope and great strenght suffered by the charachters that gives the reader a feeling that if that person can carry on and perhaps they also can deal with issues of their own.
Excellent novel I recommend to anyone who loves to read.
