  Stink in the beginning

  This is the third of the 7 current Stink books available that I have read. It is the first in the series. It was a fun read. It was interesting going back and seeing Stink in the beginning. Megan MacDonald and Peter H. Reynolds have done an amazing job with this spin-off series. In the dedication Megan says the book is for all of those who asked for a Stink book. I can only say we are lucky they listened to their readers, for now we have two great series to read - both the Judy Moody books and the Stink Moody books. The chapters in this book are: Short, Shorter, Shortest Shrink, Sharnk, Shrunk Up, Up, Up Stinkerbell, Stinkerbell The Famous Jameses Tumble, Fluff, Shrink! Tall, Taller, Tallest Stink Moody, aka James Moody, is the shortest person in his family and the shortest person in his class. Then one day he has his sister measure him before bed and he has lost three quarters of an inch. This is a story with a frog, a newt, a favorite president and of course Stink and Judy Moody - how could it not be a blast? This is a great book by some incredible authors.

  I know for the fact that they help kids who struggle with reading in [...]. They are easy to read and have a good story, are funny and appealing to that age group. A must have!
