gave this book 4 out of 5 stars/leaves.)
I enjoyed this one. Despite the almost inevitable fact that some
stories will be better than others in an anthology such as this, I
can at least say that all the stories in this particular anthology
were quite good.
My least favorite was the story by Patricia Briggs (whom I usually
like!): I had read 'Hunting Ground' (a novel which features these
characters while focusing on the characters of Anna and Charles)
previously. I can't speak as to whether or not this was a factor in
my impression of this story, but somehow I didn't find it to be as
gripping as some of the others and I didn't care for it as much as
I have for some of her novels.
As a side note, one of the other stories was a prequel to the novel
'Skinwalker' by Faith Hunter (i.e. the first novel in the Jane
Yellowrock series).
