Terry Fox: His Story, is an amazing book. It is amazing in so many ways, the book gives you the impression that although Terry Fox only had one good leg, he wasn't going to let it spoil the life that he wanted to live. As he was lying in the hospital waiting for surgery Terry was reading a book, and this is where he got the idea to run across Canada. This book also gave us a view of how people seen Terry, and most of the people seen him as a child's role model. He is also a role model for many adults too. Also the book tells us just how much Terry trained and thet he ran in any weather, whether it was rain, snow, 50km/h winds or anything, he was determined. Although Terry Fox did die of Cancer, in his recognition every year, there is a Terry Fox run and the money raised goes directly to Cancer Research. When Terry was on his run across Canada, people all over were giving him money and he never kept it for himself, it always went to the Cancer Research. This book is a must read because it tells you just how much courage one person had, even if he only had one good leg and an artificial leg.
