There they come to understand the consequences of Raistlin''s quest--and Caramon at last realizes the painful sacrifice he must make to prevent his brother''s success. Old friends and strange allies come together to aid him, but Caramon must take the last, greatest step alone. The step into the Abyss.

I completely love this book. I found the characters so realistic and I know I am repeating myself. Raistlin, Caramon, Tasslehoff and Lady Crysania (the main characters in this book) are wonderfully created and I fell under the spell Weis and Hickman cast on me.

My jaw dropped at the end of the book and I found myself wanting more. If you want an enticing book that will drag you into its story and never let you go, reading this book might be the best decision you've ever made.

I've read the trilogy and I recommanded it to all fans of Dragonlance or to every fans of Fantasy... You'll have to read the Chronicles first, but I'll bet you already have! So to those who are not fans yet, read those books and you'll become one!
    Have fun!

An interesting and fulfulling end to the Legends Series. Definitly a Must Read for all Raistlin and DragonLance fans! The book describes how Raistlin fares on his quest to become a god, how Chrysania deals with her love for Raistlin and how Caramon must go on with his own life... Also includes Tanis Half-Elven, Kitara, and Tasslehoff Burrfoot (of course!). A Very Good Book! =)

    Farewell....

At last, we saw farewell to the hero's of Krynn, as Raistlins quest for ultimate power to reign as a god comes to an end, and the final outcome is decided by both Raistlin, and his twin brother, Caramon Majere. Not as good as the first two books, and kind of seems uneven at times, but is still an enjoyable Dragonlance book.
