About the Author

Christopher Measom writes frequently about travel. When not on the road he can be found in lower Manhattan writing, editing, and toiling on book design with his partner Timothy Shaner. His current projects include The Art of X-Men: The Last Stand and The Da Vinci Code Illustrated Screenplay. Chris'' grandmother stepped off the HMS Baltic on a crisp October day in 1927, leaving the Emerald Isle for the Isle of Manhattan. Now he makes the reverse commute to visit his niece and nephews--Allanah, Finn, and Tughe--as often as possible.

H. Clark Wakabayashi has written, designed, and/or edited many titles including The lIttle Big Book of Baseball, The Little Big Book for Dads (both Welcome), and Wish You Were Here in the Wild (Disney Editions). He inherited a bit of Irish blood from his maternal grandfather, Greg Clark, Canada''s most beloved storyteller and humorist. According to family legend, Clark is descended from Gweir the Hospitable, King of Connaught.
