Famine, Death, Pestilence & War - but the 5th (& the most dangerous) is Man. Read this book in one sitting - I was in awe of Patterson's handling of plot & subplot. If you feel that you will read only one out of this series - this absolutely MUST be the one! Actually, 5 maple leafs isn't high enough - this read is a 7 out of 5!

I like it but not Patterson's best The story flows smoothly throughout the book; the topic is enticing and thrilling, it gives you that extra twist to keep you turning the pages and eager to read the next novel.

I found this book enjoyable, but I found it was the weakest of the series. However, in my opinion the first was the best.

Ths is not as good as some of his previous books, but it was fast paced and I did want to return to the story after putting it down.

It's not a bad story but I did find the ending a bit rushed, and there were no surprises. Patterson continues his writing style of very short chapters that make it a quick read. Patterson fans will enjoy it but still not up to the quality of his earlier books.

The book managed to hold my interest throughout, until I got near the conclusion of the book. Most James Patterson books have a clever twist at the end........this one did not. A scene in 3/4 of the way through the book gave away the killer, and the ending seemed rushed and a plot twist was glaringly absent. Weakest in the Murder Club series thus far.
