I just want to tell you that i'm 17 years old, and i'm very fan of the Beatles, and The Beatles own biography, The Beatles Anthology, is a very, very good job. I suggest this book for all people, fans or not. Wonderful pictures, and really personnal story life.Very nice book to gift.That's what you need to know the real life of The Beatles. This book is one of the best and most complete accounts of the beatles rise to fame and thier eventual breakup. All four members are represented equally in this fascenating book. A must have for beatle fans!

Beware, if you are a Beatles fan this book can seriously cut into the time you have available for family and friends. I received this book at Christmas and wasn't able to put the sucker down for over a week. I thought I'd skim most of it, look at the photos and read the occaisional excerpt but found myself devouring every written word. Full of personal insight. Beatlemania from the inside. Highly recommended.

The fellas have always put out the best quality products. (perhaps the Let It Be expereince would be the only exception) From the quality of the book itself to the tremendous insight into their private lives, this is an unabashed first rate book. Being a songwriter, I especially enjoyed the behind the scenes info on the writing of individual songs. I salute you...John, Paul, George and Ringo. You've brought much joy into my life. Finally a complete book about the Beatles by the members themselves. It was the most informative and entertaining book I have ever read about the group. I especailly enjoyed the personal touch.

The Beatles Anthology is a must buy for every Beatle fan. It's well written and very informative,anything you wanted to know about four guys that changed music forever.

I haven't even begun to read this book yet. I just got it in the mail. I'm an extreme Beatlemaniac, so there's not all that much in this book which will be news, other than the pictures. They alone are worth the price of the book. If your copy of Schaffner's "Beatles Forever" or of the "Imagine" coffee table book is worn out, if you're interested in the Beatles, or even if you're not, this book is extremely important and excellently presented. I will leave another review of the text itself once the big read is complete (should be by this time next week). Give Peace A Chance!

This is definitely a masterpiece. An instant classic by the best group to ever grace the stage. Their songwriting talents are not there only writing abillity. A must have for any Beatlemaniac.
