This book caught me unawares. When I finally got into it, read it every free moment I had. When couldn't read it, thought of when I would be. A mixture of romance, supernatural, heartache, passion, love and a great ending. No wonder this is an award-winning novel. I'm recommending it to all my fellow romance novel lovers.Enjoy!

As usual anything Susan Carroll writes is heart wrenching and passionate. "The Bride Finder" is no exception. Anatole St. Leger is rude and frightening at first but with all Carroll's brilliantly designed characters, also extremley lovable in the eyes of the only woman who can love him. The plot has many similarities to the french fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" but with a sharper edge and style that is unmatched. Susan Carroll is, as always a must read to those of the romance or histroical fan club.

This is my first book by Susan Carroll. I thought the book would have had a lot more excitement and a much better love story. Too much of fear (not speaking the truths, scared of being judged, etc). I thought it was quite boring. The fact also that Madeleine does not believe in the supernatural until the very end. Don't get me wrong, the book was good, but not the greatest. I will buy The Night Drifter , and am curious to see how this one turns out as it is concering their son, Lance.

This was my first book by Ms. Carroll, but it won't be my last. An excellent book, an enthralling read. Twists and turns that kept me reading as fast as I could to find out what would happen next. Definately "worth the coin".
