This collection of comic strips could not be nicer and better presented. If you are a fan of the Calvin and Hobbes its a must buy.

This high quality complete edition of C&H is perfect! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Good quality pages, binding, presentation, everything! LOVE IT. Three volumes of awesome.

Of course, Garfield and Peanuts are wonderful, fantastic cartoon strips. Calvin & Hobbes is a work of artistic genius though. Intelligent, silly, warm-hearted, insightful, and beloved by millions, the adventures of a mischievous little boy and his real-to-him tiger is simply a work of creative genius that will not be replicated.

I put the The Far Side set that is packaged similarly on my xmas list a few years ago and my family bought it for me. The first thing that struck me was the build quality of the books. This set is no different. The cloth binding, the thickness and quality of the paper. The overall feel of the book and the way it's presented is fantastic and really adds to the enjoyment of rediscovering Calvin and Hobbes. I am giving away all the other Calvin and Hobbes books I have because they just seem inferior to this set. Some people won't just because these books are very big and very heavy and anything but transportable but that just outlines the quality of this set. When I went to go pick up the set I couldn't believe the weight of it. If you even have a mild liking of Calvin and Hobbes just buy this set, you won't regret it. The notes by Bill Watterson are actually really interesting, especially about the attempted merchandising of his creations and his dealings with the publishing industry. A new Mad Magazine Don Martin collection in this format is out now as well. I'm not a fan of his work but I'm hoping they do a Sergio Aragonés. Basically anything they release like in this format that I like I will buy. Help!

For all Calvin and Hobbes fans, THIS IS IT. Every strip ever published all here. 3 volumes and each one weighs a ton all encased in a box (which needs die-cut finger holds as it is hard to remove the volumes) ! Coated stock with both black and white and colour comics. I was really disappointed when the strip ended a few years back - no wonder this collection is a best-seller. A bit pricey but worth the cost.
