    LOVELY BOOK

I read this book when I was 12-14 years old and I still remember how great it was...spent the whole wkend reading the trilogy and could not get enough of it.

This book made me daydream and even though I am 20 now, I still think about this book and some of the thoughts/daydreams/fantasies I had while reading it. Recently I ordered it from chapters.ca so my 11 year old brother could read it. Instead my 18 year old sister picked it up and now she cannot wait to read the 2nd book (on Chapters the newly published version is coming out in a few months). Although it is supossed to be a book for teens, I think anyone can enjoy this fantastic book!! Highly recommend it.

    Captivating

Although this book was short, and it's story plot was a little rushed, it still captivates you from the beginning and it takes you up into a magical world, far beyond our own, that IS magical, but at the same time, almost PLAUSIBLE. At all times in the story, you root for Aeriel, the little servant girl, who wants to save humanity, but instead, finds herself falling in love with the vampyre she must kill. The ending does come as a bit of a surprise, as far as the resolution of the problem, but you always know that it must have a happy ending.

This book is, I would say, the best book i have read. The imagery is great and you really get caught up in the story. The author makes you feel as if you are in the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy.

The Darkangel, brings us close to evil in its most beautiful sense. In this tale of darkness, love is the star that guides those astray. Courage is the wisdom gained from the heart's journey. Together, these elements spin to form a tapastry beyond the lure of neverending dreams...
