    Book is Awesome!

I first read this book when I was in high school, trying to decide on what university to attend. I can honestly say that it was this book that helped me decide to go into human factors. Now, three years into my undergraduate degree, I know that I made the right decision and am as interetsted in human factors as ever. It's amazing to see how the stuff that I am learning in school is actually applicable in real life.

This book is interesting, easy to read, and thought provoking. I definitely recommend this book to everyone!

    Great for Product Designers

A must read for product designers! This book takes a look at the smallest details that are never to be over looked. An example refered to multiple times is the visual language of doors... are they a push or pull? How can you tell? How many times have you performed the wrong action and felt stupid? Shouldn't it be obvious how to open the door? This book makes you think of everything along those lines for a vast number of products and is easily applied to everyday things.

Although this book has nothing to do with web design, I've recommended it to web designers for the past 10 years. Its a great, common-sense look at how humans intereact with everything, everyday.
