I've been drawn to this book while on a trip to poland during the scandal of the President using the spy agencies to quash the opposition and when the secret courier who was funniling the secret monies of the ex-communists to secret accounts in switzerland was killed in an "accident". ver satisfying book, that i think will appealing to anyone who likes this kind of intrigue.

Very glad to see a Canadian author making it big in the blockbuster thriller genre! The novel is excellent! Very intriguing plot with shattering conspiracy that touches on very current issues, such as terrorism, George Bush' world domination (indeed the American president portrayed in the novel can only be G Bush), and intelligence agencies running the most powerful governments of the world. Highly recommended for readers who enjoy Ludlum, Silva, Forsyth and other world famous authors. Now you have your own Canadian talent to be proud of!

Intelligent plotting for readers who pay attention. Not your typical 'trashy' thriller read absent-mindedly. Great twists that took me off-guard. King delivers a combination of Le Carre and Ludlum : main character who seems lost at the complexity of the task he's facing and intrigue on the GRAND scale. An excellent Page-turner! Great dialogs! Good for anyone fond of espionage and intrigue!

Must read for anyone fascinated by current events-meet-fiction with a really cool spin on the new world order and the US's role in the world affairs. Very current! Great read! Fast pace!
