    Great book for first time preschoolers

    A Mother's Love
    This is a great book to help your kids if they are just starting school or daycare and have to get used to the idea of being away from Mom or Dad. The little raccoon in this story is off to night school. His mom places a kiss in his hand so he won't be lonely and so he has a little part of her to take with him. A very sweet story.

    Recommended read for EVERY child!
    This is such an amazing story that every child should read. Chester is afraid of starting school and his mother introduces the kissing hand as a way of easing his anxieties and reassuring him of her love for him. Every school library should have this book!

    My nephew loves this book.
    My nephew loved this book. My mom (nana) and nephew have there own special kissing hand. He loves and so do we. Glad to see that their are good books like this around for kids to read.

    Heartwarming
    The Kissing Hand is a wonderfully written, magical and heartwarming book. It can move you to tears and make your heart tingle all at once. An absolute necessity on the bookshelves for new moms returning back to work, as a reassuring pat on the back that we all survive this transition of mom going back to the workplace.

    Nothing compares to MOM'S love
    The Kissing Hand was a wonderfully written book. Although it is said to be a children's book,I believe it also belongs into the adult category. I'm a young adult and the first time my mother showed me this book it touched my heart. Children go through many different and scary stages of life and they need that extra comfort from mom. But adults also go through scary stages also and sure they need the help from their wives/husbands or friends but nothing compares to the comfort and love that Mom gives. A well written book that deserves alot of attention and credit.
