'a warm & delightful book'

Jennifer Lyon

the Little House Cookbook blends Walker's considerable historical research; plenty of hands-on testing of vintage recipes and adjustments for modern kitchens; and a great deal of the delight and joy that she and her young daughter must have shared as Walker prepared the book. thorough, detailled, with Garth Homer's original illustrations throughout, and relevant quotes from each of the Little House books to introduce each recipe... this book is a real gem. offers a creative way for fans to smell, taste, and enjoy a little piece of their heroine's world, Laura's pioneer life. full stars and celebrations all around..
