Many of us have read this book in grade school but forget the lessons taught in this book. The way we view things can vary greatly from the original intention. How we approach different viewpoints and problem solving is also brought out in the book. This book shows us how greatly different a child's thoughts are different from an adult's thoughts. An adult's thinking may be at times hard to understand because there is no logic to it, it just keeps going around in circles, so to say. Many people around the world have enjoyed this book, for it has been translated into other languages. Although being a children's book, it is so thought provoking that any person at any age can enjoy it.

I absolutely loved the meaning within this book. Viewing the world through the eyes of a child is so easily forgotten as one grows older, but this book reminds us of the importance of it all. I recommend this book to everyone at any age, but mostly to elementary school teachers!

A must read, this book written by Antoine De Saint-Exupery appeals to all ages. This book revolves around the human condition and the different kinds of people that exist in the world. It goes to show that how we are treated as a child has a big impact of how we go about our futures and our lives. The narrator told the story that when he was younger he tried to draw an boa constrictor with an elephant inside of him. Lots of the adults thought it was a hat and then they told him to stop wasting his time on silly drawings and to focus on more on academics. Had this child been encouraged to draw more, he could have been one of the great artists that many of us admire today. When the Narrator becomes stranded in the desert, the little prince comes to him and he tells the story of his adventures that led him to earth and the many people he met. Some childish, foolish, some selfless...there are many lessons to be learn upon reading this book.

The Little Prince by Antoine Saint-Exupery is a very popular book that was first published in 1943, which can be read by people of all ages because it will interest everyone. It makes great points about human nature, which are amusing to read. The Little Prince about an innocent boy that lives on a small planet called B612 that is the size of a house, exactly as it is seen on the book's cover. On the planet, there also lives a talking rose and three tiny volcanoes, two of which are active and one that is dormant. The Prince maintains his planet by pulling out baobab trees that would destroy the planet if they grew any larger. The Prince decides that he would like to see the universe, and so he visits six planets that are inhabited by irrational adults. Go on a journey with the Little Prince as he meets a king, a conceited man, a drunkard, a businessman, a lamplighter, a geographer, and an inhabitant of the earth, all of which are men. I recommend this book to people of all ages since it is very short and teaches good lessons that may have been forgotten.

This book is one of my favorites of all time. I have always herd of this book as being for little kids, but the meaning is far more than a simple child’s story. The Little Prince is a story of a whole new world, and our world at the same time. Reading this book was truly inspirational to me, and I strongly recommend it for those who are curious about the meanings of life. This small yet big book is one I will cherish for the rest of my life.

This book was short but beautifully written, it gives lifes simplest lessons, which we all forget. It is an opportunity to realize what we as humans do and to make changes from then on. I enjoyed this book it was not only a life lesson for the adult reader can learn from but also caters to children as well, it is written in a simplist way however has a powerful messege. You can read this book to your child or any kid and you will learn lots from it too.

A marvelous great book which is not only for kids but also more for adults who are too much deep into materialistic life that they don't notice who they became to. I really recommend to all adults to read it several times once a while as a reminder! Don't forget the child inside you.

I read this book for the first time in my grade 9 French class and, though I loved it, I took a long time to seek out the English version. I thought that much of what I considered to be the book's charm would be lost in translation and, while this was true to some extent, the tiny, planet-hopping protagonist still proved to be engaging. The Little Prince is witty, wise, beautifully illustrated, and definitely not just for kids.
