    Points to Ponder, even today
    I did not know that this was more philosophy and non-fiction than a fictional portrait of a "prince" from the 16th century. However, Machiavelli's musing are both accurate (even for the 21st century) and interesting as he uses examples from his own time and involves real life characters such as Pope Alexander VI and the King of France, Charles VIII. There is also the fascinating tale about a 14th century "prince" who embodies most of the author's theories and ideas. At first it may not seem relevant, but it touches on some very important points if you really want to be a great leader.

    Simple yet awesome

    Brilliant
    A brilliant view of politics, past, present and future. Political Satire at its purest, this was written for the Medici Princes, and it showed...apparently they did not appreciate his point of view, because he was killed for it!
