Some good techniques!

This book addresses stress management. The most useful section is on breathing. This is one area where everyone takes it for granted. When you are stressed out the first thing you should control is your breathing! This is your number one tool against stress. Breathing should be done diaphragmatically, meaning taking deep abdominal breaths. Some other sections on the book include: body awareness, progressive relaxation, meditation, and visualization. This book at times is too scientific and long. In addition, some of techniques are not applicable in real life.
