Granted the book is not a literary masterpiece, it's very simply written but the message is exhilarating and logical. Positive thinking might not "align the universe" but it certainly aligns your actions and your efforts to be more effective and efficient towards realizing your goals; and this book is a refreshing and compelling reminder of that. I recently purchased "The Secret" audiobook. I found the content to be quite...empowering. It gives you a positive boost and helps you to think positive. It is not really a secret but, I believe in the detailed content of the book. It makes total sense but, the only flaw is, i think many people already knew about the positive and negative attraction theory...nonetheless, i recommend the book.

The Secret by Rhonda Byrne has sold 6 million copies and also has been made into a dvd and film. The book is published by Simon and Schuster and its ISBN is 18473770292. It is a new age self help book that claims all you want is yours to have if you simply have positive thoughts. Its theme is self fullfillment and all negative things come from ones negative thoughts. The movie feels a little infomercialish

Spirituality, positive mental attitude and the laws of attraction -- how can this book encourage anything but betterment and inner joy? As of late, I have been incorporating "The Secret" in my everyday life and have noticed some instant changes. Dig past the hype and find some wisdom

There is a secret about The Secret...and that is this: Everything between the front and back cover is NOT a secret. For people nervous about reading it because you think it's some hyped-up mind control thing, rest easy. You're half right. The book WAS hyped up. Good marketing on their part.
