The idea for this new teen book is very original, I've never run
across anything like it before.
Elizabeth Ray Michaels receives a gold note that is addressed to
Aleph Beth Ray and it reads, You Are More Then You Think You Are.
Strange? You bet!
But Beth thinks she can't possibly be the real recipient of this
strange note, until she starts having problems with her vision.
Suddenly there are ropes, strings, knots and goopy things floating
around people she sees. It doesn't take this genious long to figure
out a lot of the lines appear because of what the people they are
attached to are thinking or feeling so she christians the odd
phenomina feelsees (feeling and seeing).
She's got enough problems with graduating early, getting ready for
college, and crushing on an older boy so Beth thinks a quick trip
to the eye doctor will fix her sight problems.
It doesn't work, it makes it worse and then everything Beth knows
explodes into chaos!
Great characters, great plot and great new idea, the only problem
that kept this one from a full five leaves was the way the book
ended. If there is a sequel (which I have not yet heard there will
be) then it's a decent enough ending, if not then the ending in my
opinion was incredibly anti-climactic.
Read it with my blessing!
