This book is a little bit different than anything I've read before. Before I started it I was quite nervous that it was going to be a sad story about the killing of a tiger. Thankfully I was wrong. While the story is about the tracking down of a man-eating tiger it examines the process behind the decision and how it impacts both nature and humans. This book also had a lot of information on Russian history, which I wasn't expecting but was still very good.
