This is, hands down, my favourite book of the year to date. Charming, smart, touching, well-crafted, and just downright interesting! Clare meets Henry when she is six, and he is thirty-six, but Henry doesn't meet Clare until he is twenty-eight, and she is twenty. Confused? Henry is chronologically displaced - he time-travels. He doesn't control it, is morbidly afraid of mundane dangers (he arrives naked in whenever he travels, so he's terrified of frostbite, for example). Don't worry, though… + read more
