Lots of people think Twilight is stupid and pointless. But I completely disagree! Though the movies may not be very good, the books are absolutely amazing! People say, don't judge a book by its cover, but in this case, don't judge a book by its movie. These books have a beautiful forbidden romance, an awesome love triangle (Team Jacob!), a very interesting perspective on vampires and werewolves, exciting action and absolutely amazing writing. The characters are interesting and real, I love Jacob, Alice and Seth. Personally I find Bella very annoying and stupid (jumping of that cliff in New Moon, seriously!) and Edward's not my fave. Eclipse is my favourite book due to the revved up action and the climax of the love triangle (though the results were predictable and did not make me very happy). Twilight was a little boring but it still has great writing, just not enough Jacob. New moon is a little bit annoying, with Bella being so depressed but it has a lot more Jacob. Breaking Dawn provided a great chance to see Jacob's perspective though the first part was not my fave (Bella and Edward's honeymoon and wedding). The twist in the book was a little strange but very interesting. In all, the Twilight Saga are my favourite romance books ever.

What could I possibly say that hasn't been said already?
This is one of those rare teen reads that easily translates to adult audiences. Stephenie Meyer has an uncanny ability to evoke strong emotions in her readers, and makes her audience-regardless of age- fall in love with her characters. One of my favorite teen reads ever. This series will be on my shelf forever, so I can revisit it often.
